| I walked down the long, angled causeway that connects downtown to the Bottoms. They are separated by a 100-foot sheer cliff, which, I am confident, is one of the main reasons for the area's decline, since Kansas City became addicted to cars. This is one of the first buildings that looms over the north side of the causeway, jugging the beholder into the sad reality that most of the large buildings in the West Bottoms stand mostly empty. | ||
