Susie and I met at the Cup and Saucer at 8

	After eating, Susie and I wandered the streets of downtown. Here's Susie, enjoying the nice weather.
	As we got close to Bartle Hall, we spotted the colored fountain. I thought it was pretty cool, if not gross.
	Here are a few tall buildings.
	This is the Kansas City convention Center. Congratulations, Mark Cunningham!
	This is One , Kansas City Place, the tallest building in Missouri.
	This is the headquarters of Kansas City Power and Light.
	We were thankfully on foot, because parking was filling up pretty quickly, in the area around the parade route.
	When we reached the spot from which we would watch the parade, we noticed that we had quite an impressive view.
	Susie thought the cabbage on a chain was pretty funny.
	With about 30 minutes until the parade's actual start, I took a shot north, up the street.

	Bathrooms were in pretty short supply.
	We met up with some friends at the parade, and left with them, for Westport. Here is the back seat of the packed car.

	I took a shot over the railing at McCoy's, and saw that Westport was getting a bit crowded.

	Heather, Susie, Lisa, and a guy whose name eludes me gathered for a picture. I left after that, and walked home. Stumbled would have been a better description. I hope to stay in KC for next year's big day, too.
