Boulevard Pale Ale

Useless Crap from the mind of bahua

I write a lot of stupid crap, whether it's to pass time, apply new skills, fulfill a need, or just to proctice some coding. Usually though, it's just a combination of all of the above. I've decided to list and index those various "applications," here. You may use them as you see fit.

  • Zipcheck - Using the Census Bureau's 2000 Gazeteer data, I've put together a little application that takes a ZIP code as input, and returns some very basic demographic information about it.
  • Ledger - I've used a lot of methods to track my expenses, but none have behaved exactly as I wanted, so I wrote my own. My most concrete desire for tracking expenses is to plot my expenses and paydays for many months out, and get a better picture of my budget by seeing how much I actually have to spend by looking at how future transactions will affect my finances. You're free to use it, but all user setups are manually done. If you'd like to give it a try(for free, of course), then shoot me an email.
