Yeah, apparently gmail is back on the invitation train. I have heard about tons of people getting 6 invitations to give. I suppose the ebay auctions are a bit saturated now.

Hi,
We live about 30 km away from Maredsous and so take the bike for a quick ride there every often. They also produce an excellent blonde rating 6%B0 and a stronger brown ale rating 8%B0 -both can from bottles or draft. Maredsous cheese is great too !

Heh, actually, it was just a big house party out in Brimfield, and it WAS awesome, but it was just the house of two out of four of the members of the Amazing Killowatts, who played, as well as Los Diablos Blancos, Super 88, and some awful metal band called Burning Love Letters, ha ha ha.

I think you need to include an 'intangibles' rating. In this case I think the intangible of a boob grab would factor nicely into the rating.

For some reason, I really like the picture of... Mary Kay it must be... when she is holding the beer with the streets in the background. Oh yeah, and I don't think I told you this, but when I was in St. Louis a couple weeks ago, I bought Fat Tire and thought of you. My older friends liked it, my friends of my age thought it wasn't good. Long Live New Belgium!

I was impressed that they tied in the beginnings of the HOB Goblin....also if you have not read the comics, the Lizard Man made a pretty good cameo as well. For those of you who could not pick out the Lizard Man it was Parkers one armed Prof. I am already excited for the third installment of the movie!

Ironic that this beer was chosen so that lots of folks could participate in the discussion, yet no one has discussed.

Sam Adams is, in my opinion, a very underrated beer. Because people hear about it as often as they hear about gray beers, they discount. Not only do they have good seasonals (like the Summer Ale presently inhabiting my fridge, but not for long!), but their all-years are also excellent. Though, I will take exception with Cherry Wheat in deference to Mr. Olsson and in spite of Ms. Kvortek.

In short, don't be fooled by all the marketing! Sam Adams is actually good!

_______
I've had Alaskan Amber and didn't think it was too bad, although it was at a graduation party and Miller Lite was the only alcoholic alternative. Speaking of bland, yellow-tasting, time-wasting disappointment...
Ben at 11:48 AM, Jun 2, 2004,
regarding Yuengling Lager
_______
I've only had Yuengling from a bottle, but nobody else commented, and I felt something further should be stated.
It's a very good "any-occasion" beer, being rich enough to have taste, but not overly pronounced in either the hops or malt categories. It's available remarkably cheaply in bottles on the East Coast, and is a beer that definitely deserves wider distribution.

_______
Chimay Red is definantly an aquired taste, from my experience with it. I ordered a bottle at Old Chicago to give it a whirl, although I would be interested trying it from a tap. Very hoppy, but no where near as hoppy as Blue Cat Big Bad Dog Ale.

_______
I think you left your cds at home, oh, maybe five years ago or something? I think that a blind faith cd was included. It was more than four tracks, something like six or maybe seven, but it had a couple of long, long songs on it, and all were fantastic. Do you still have that one, and, could you rip it and put it somewhere I could find it? =)
